IF Gnistan won 2–1 away at AC Oulu on 12 September in the Veikkausliiga Championship Group, and Ruxi was involved from the first minute to the last.
The Spanish defender played the full ninety minutes and provided the assist for Saku Ylätupa's opening goal in the 58th minute, before Roman Eremenko sealed the win from the penalty spot. It was his fifth league appearance since joining the Helsinki club in August, and his fourth full game.
With a 7.7 rating he was also the best-rated player on the pitch and named player of the match (Sofascore).
